A mountain man goes on a routine manhunt and finds himself embroiled in solving a supernatural mystery in this fantasy/adventure. Set in the wilds of Montana, Lewis Gates is a heavy-drinking tracker called to sober up and venture into the backcountry to find three murderous fugitives who escaped from a local prison. For him, it's a routine assignment—until he stumbles upon a strange occurrence. With the help of a female anthropologist, he learns of the Cheyenne dog soldiers who once lived in the region. Together, they journey deep into the wilderness and uncover a hidden ancient Cheyenne village behind a mysterious waterfall—a peaceful sanctuary untouched by time.
