Alongside his signature songwriting and vocals, the album incorporates elements of country and folk, lending it a warm, rootsy character. Notable tracks include “Diesel And Dirt,” “How’s It Goin’,” “Iron Ribbon,” and “The Battle Of Lundy’s Lane.”

Adams explains, “The idea was simply to make a record about Canada. It started with writing the song for the documentary, ‘Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge’ and after doing so much research, I was inspired to start writing more songs about Canada. Musically it took me somewhere a little different too, which made the whole thing exciting.”

A particularly moving moment on the album is “The Ballad Of Terry Fox,” Adams’ tribute to one of Canada’s most inspirational figures. This song is also set to feature in the upcoming documentary film about Terry Fox, titled “Run Terry Run.”

'How’s It Goin’’ reflects Adams’ roots, delivering an album that is personal, cinematic, and reflective, yet undeniably Bryan Adams. The LP is presented in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves, obi, and shrink wrap.
