Terra Nova - The Complete Series - Sci-fi [DVD]

Terra Nova follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149, the world is dying—overdeveloped, overcrowded, and stripped of most plant and animal life. With humanity's future in jeopardy, scientists at the FERMI Particle Accelerator discover a fracture in time, enabling the creation of a portal to the distant past. From this breakthrough emerges the bold plan to resettle mankind in primeval history, offering a second chance to rebuild civilization and get it right.

The series centers on the Shannon family as they join the Tenth Pilgrimage of settlers to Terra Nova, the first colony established in this breathtaking yet dangerous land. Led by Jim Shannon (Jason O'Mara), a devoted father with a troubled past, the family must navigate a world filled with stunning beauty, ancient mysteries, and terrifying threats. As they struggle to survive, they face not only prehistoric dangers but also the challenges of human conflict and moral dilemmas.

Backed by Steven Spielberg, Terra Nova brings blockbuster-scale production to television, delivering visually stunning scenes and ambitious storytelling. The series features an extended finale of 'Resistance,' never before seen on TV, concluding the journey with added depth and intensity.
