Patrick Wolf - Crying The Neck [Limited Edition Vinyl]

‘Crying The Neck’ is the seventh album by multi-instrumentalist and composer Patrick Wolf, pressed as a limited-edition coloured double vinyl. Written and recorded in the Kent coastal town he calls home, it draws on grief, folklore, the Kentish landscape and the state of England.

The album is a confident, uplifting and hopeful record shaped by the transfiguring power of grief following the death of Wolf’s mother. It follows his first six albums, which established him as a respected artist known for combining electronic sampling with classical instruments, and is the first in a planned four-album series.

Long-time friends Zola Jesus, Serafina Steer and Seb Rochford appear as guests. The two discs are Harvest Ochre and Umber Soil, and come in a gatefold cover with two pull-out printed sleeves featuring photography by Furmaan Ahmed.
