Death Cab for Cutie - I Built You A Tower [Vinyl]

Death Cab for Cutie - I Built You A Tower [Vinyl]

As one of the definitive indie-rock bands of the century, Death Cab for Cutie returns to their independent roots with their eleventh album, I Built You A Tower. Released after the band spent twenty years within the major label system, this record captures the sound of loss, compartmentalization, and grief bursting out from the seams, ultimately leading to growth after falling apart.

Ben Gibbard describes the album's theme: 'I see the tower existing on your emotional horizon. You don't always have to look at what's inside it, but it's a reminder that it happened. You know it's there. You have to face it.'

• The band's eleventh studio album, marking a return to their indie roots after two decades on a major label.
• Explores themes of loss, grief, and the subsequent growth that follows acknowledging pain.

This release follows a historic, sold-out global tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Transatlanticism, and the universally acclaimed 2022 release, Asphalt Meadow. Death Cab for Cutie is scheduled to tour the US this summer, beginning July 10th.

This is the single LP record edition of I Built You A Tower, manufactured by Anti. The vinyl weighs 322g and measures 298x298x9mm.
