Marvel Champions is a cooperative Living Card Game (LCG) from Fantasy Flight that continues to grow and expand with new content on a monthly basis. Unlike other card games, Marvel Champions features set cards, such as hero expansion decks, schemes, and villains, rather than random booster packs. The game focuses on hand management and allows players to use pre-built decks or customize their own using cards from two different decks: a general deck with generic cards and one of four attribute decks (leadership, justice, aggression, and protection).
In the game, players take on the role of Marvel superheroes and must work together to stop villains and their evil schemes. Each hero has cards that are specific to them and must use these cards wisely to pay for their actions. The game is thematic and offers a good challenge for players, allowing for meaningful team-ups and strategic gameplay.
The latest expansion for Marvel Champions introduces Venom as a new hero. This version of Venom is Peter's old classmate, Flash Thompson, and his pre-built pack is based on the justice attribute, providing new cards for players to use in their decks.
Marvel Champions is suitable for 1-4 players and has a playtime of 45-90 minutes. The game is recommended for players aged 14 and up.
