Celebrate the 50th anniversary of a classic solo effort with this special vinyl release of Fish Out Of Water by Yes founder and bassist, Chris Squire. Recorded in the late Spring and Summer of 1975 while Yes was on hiatus, this album stands equal in invention and creativity to any Yes release.
Album SignificanceThis breathtaking work was essentially a collaboration between Chris Squire and arranger Andrew Pryce Jackman, formerly of Squire’s pre-Yes band, The Syn. The sessions featured contributions from former Yes drummer Bill Bruford, Yes keyboard player Patrick Moraz, and noted musicians Mel Collins and Jimmy Hastings. The original album achieved success, charting in the UK Top 30 and the US Billboard Top 75, eventually selling nearly 500,000 copies worldwide.
50th Anniversary Half Speed Master RemixTo honor this milestone, acclaimed engineer Stephen W Tayler has prepared a brand new stereo mix. This edition is presented in the finest possible audio quality, achieved via a half speed master cut at AIR Studios in London. The resulting audio is both stunning and revealing, serving as a fitting tribute to Chris Squire's creative vision.
Key FeaturesThis release is presented on 1 LP record, featuring the fully remixed album, restored original artwork, printed inner bag, and poster.
Experience this essential piece of progressive rock history, remastered for the highest fidelity on vinyl.
