Eric Steckel - Sandstorm [Solid Gold Vinyl]

Sandstorm is a blues-rock album by American guitarist and singer Eric Steckel, pressed on solid gold vinyl. It’s for listeners drawn to loud guitar-and-amplifier blues-rock with a metal edge.

Steckel’s guitar-led approach looks back to the sound of great guitars played loudly through great amps. He has toured internationally alongside artists including Steve Vai, Gregg Allman, Johnny Winter and John Mayall.

The title track, “Sandstorm”, was a spontaneous addition to the album and became Steckel’s favourite track from the record. He has been named by Total Guitar among the 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time and by Guitar Player as one of 10 Future Blues Stars.
