Kevin Morby - Little Wide Open [audioCD]

Explore the atmospheric sounds of Kevin Morby's eighth studio album, Little Wide Open, presented here on CD. This record delves into Morby's origins in the Midwest, capturing the unintentional musicality of the landscape—from cicada chirps to tornado sirens—exploring the simultaneous ugliness and beauty beneath the wide-open sky.

Produced by Aaron Dessner (known for his work with Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Gracie Abrams), Little Wide Open continues the trilogy cataloging Morby's time in the Midwest, following Sundowner (2020) and This Is a Photograph (2022). The production elevates Morby’s songwriting with a newfound confidence and clarity, drawing comparisons to Tom Petty’s 1994 classic Wildflowers.
