Description

Ed Wynne’s expanded CD edition of Shimmer Into Nature is a solo release for fans of psychedelic synth and rock. It includes two bonus tracks: an FTZ remix of “Shim” and a 2019 live recording of “Glass Staircase”.

Known for his work with Ozric Tentacles, Wynne wrote, programmed, mixed and performed the music. The album was inspired by places he travelled over three years, from the Colorado Mountains to the coastlines of Cornwall and South Devon, and Scotland’s East Coast.

Guitar and synth-led, the album creates a psychedelic musical landscape shaped by those locations. The expanded edition adds the remix of “Shim” and the live version of “Glass Staircase”.
