A - Prang [audioCD]

British alt-rock favorites A are back with PRANG, their first studio album in over 20 years. Released via Cooking Vinyl, this record captures the band rediscovering the carefree spirit and stylish sloppiness that defined their early sound, sparked by the vibrant lead single 'Hello Sunshine'.

Album Highlights and Style

PRANG is a vibrant, hook-laden reaffirmation of A's enduring appeal, balancing punchy, riff-driven anthems with heartfelt, soul-baring moments. The album is lyrically A's most open and reflective work to date, with frontman Jason Perry exploring themes of gratitude, resilience, mental health, and friendship with warmth and disarming honesty drawn from two decades of life experience. Produced by Perry himself—a Grammy Award-winning producer known for his work with Don Broco, McFly, and Kids In Glass Houses—the production preserves the band's DIY ethos.
