Tiwayo - Outsider [CD]

Paris-born soul singer and songwriter Tiwayo, nicknamed “The Young Old” for his timeless voice, returns with Outsider, a powerful new album produced by Grammy winner Adrián Quesada (Black Pumas). This CD digipack captures the triumphant comeback of a bohemian spirit whose music is deeply rooted in blues, soul, and gospel traditions absorbed during his travels.

Tiwayo forged this raw, genre-bending take on soul in Austin’s Electric Deluxe Studio with Quesada, featuring contributions from Black Pumas members and other leading lights of the retro-soul scene. Fans of uncompromising Southern soul will appreciate this sound, which avoids the typical Motown polish.

• Album produced by Adrián Quesada (Black Pumas).
• Features collaborations with Doyle Bramhall II (Eric Clapton collaborator) on three tracks.
• Includes the duet “Unchained Lovers” with Kendra Morris (Colemine Records).
• Reflects themes of artistic journey, resilience, and everyday beauty.
• Format: CD digipack.
