Description

This is the 50th anniversary edition of Jethro Tull’s debut album, for listeners exploring the British rock band’s early work. The album helped establish the group as a major name in progressive rock.

The band funded the recording themselves, before securing a record company contract. Shortly before recording, Jethro Tull began a residency at London’s Marquee club, where they had played their first gig under that name.
