Description

Crafty Hands is Happy the Man’s 1978 second album, presented on CD as a band-approved remaster by Ray Staff. It suits listeners looking for intricate progressive rock with jazz-fusion influences, and includes a 32-page booklet.

The album builds on the band’s classical and jazz-fusion influences with intricate rhythms, counterpoint and complex time signatures, balanced by warm analogue tones and polished production. Its eight instrumental mini-epics include just one vocal track.

This remastered edition celebrates the band’s reclamation of the rights to their classic Arista albums. The booklet features a new 5,000-word liner notes essay by Syd Schwartz and a 3,000-word piece by bassist Rick Kennell.
