La Securite - Bingo! [Vinyl]

Dive into the sophomore long-player Bingo! from La Securite, the Montreal/Tiohtia:ke collective known for their distinctive art punk sound. This release, scheduled for June 12th, 2026, showcases their signature blend of jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements, and minimalistic melodic hooks, filtered through an aesthetic inspired by city neon lights. The music champions a spirit of living dangerously, making it perfect for dancefloors, while the lyrics echo the ethos of the Riot Grrrl movement, celebrating female autonomization and benevolence.

Artistic Style and Background

La Securite meanders the fringes of punk, new wave, and krautrock, playfully subverting stylistic norms. Team (2024) and The Rapture (2025). This album follows their Polaris Music Prize 2024 long-listed debut, Stay Safe!, and its remix offspring, marking their collaboration with Simon Raymonde's seminal British imprint, Bella Union.
